Infrastructure Project Manager

Vancouver, Washington

We are looking for a Technical business savvy, detail-oriented Infrastructure Project Manager who has demonstrated experience planning, developing, and implementing large-scale projects while ensuring adherence to IT best practices.

  • Can articulate the differences between SaaS, PaaS and IaaS and be conversant in applications, servers, cloud technologies, and networking in a Microsoft environment.
  • Must have aptitude to understand new technologies and experience to communicate effectively with technical resources.
  • Can engage with the professional staff at a high level and ask the right questions, so the project schedule has realistic dates, and sets the proper expectations.
  • Extensive experience with project management tools such as MS Project.
  • Clear and agile thinking and analysis to drive project completion within timeframe
  • Experience tracking tasks and progress
  • Executive level written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Experience crafting user targeted communications and incorporating feedback into the process
  • Has a strong work history proving adaptable and technically savvy in regards to technical projects
  • Enjoys working on complex systems issues, creating new plans, takes risk assessment and mitigation to the next level
  • Experience working with multiple vendors and partners as well as internal staff across multiple time zones.
  • Comfortable with a diverse project portfolio e.g. site relocations, application requirement and evaluation process.


  • Office build out (server/networking move)
  • Migration of users from multiple sites into one site
  • Server room move
  • Phone system eval and replacement
  • AD functional level upgrade
  • Ticket system requirements, evaluation and implementation
  • OneDrive migration

Other duties: 

  • Project Manager responsibility for the IT and Corporate Security Team
  • Project Manager to provide day to day direction to small IT team
  • Perform hands-on IT functions as workload demands. This is a “player/coach” position.
  • Provide PM oversight and definition to support facility requirements
  • Facility expansion activities
  • Provide cross functional team leadership for facility expansions
  • Prime contact for facility issues in existing buildings
  • PM to provide for ‘continuity of operations’ off-site IT and Phone infrastructure
  • Ensure department provides support for in-house and remote personnel
