Under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager 1 (PM 1) has overall responsibility for small-scale installation projects. PM 1 is responsible for providing job site supervision of installation resources to complete installation and upgrade equipment in a timely manner, safely and on budget. PM 1 is required to manage project cost and report costs to the executive management team. PM 1 must follow designated installation procedures and safety guidelines established for work areas. This position is required to work overtime, weekends and holidays and travel as often as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee all installation resources (contractors and employees)
- Manage selection, orientation, training, evaluation and task assignment of personnel
- Responsible for managing project cost and reporting project costs to executive management team
- Communicate and report the project status both to the customer and internal DCAAC functions
- Maintain and initiate direct contact with customers through daily and weekly on-site meetings to assure customer satisfactions
- Coordinate materials and parts delivered to the site
- Participate actively in site safety and compliant with safety protocol
- Create, implement and monitor all manpower shift/backfill planning to compliant with installation contracts and Scope of Work requirements
- Assist Engineering Dept. in the development of necessary installation jigs and methods
- Follow all safety and protocol guidelines and report unsafe conditions
