Technology Requirements

Programming / Advanced skills in relevant languages:  Java, Drupal, PHP, Python, Javascript/Angular experience preferred.

· CI/CD Platforms: (ie. Bamboo, Jenkins, GitHub WorkflowsActions or TeamCity)

· Expertise running and managing Kubernetes and Docker in one or more cloud providers (AWS/Azure)

· Understanding of version control systems (Git) and work tracking product (Jira)

· Experience with API-driven development and testing.

· Strong analytical, design, problem solving skills and customer focus.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills.

· Good understanding and experience in modern software design/software engineering.

The Software Engineering team is responsible for the design, implementation, testing, maintenance, and optimization of the software solutions that make up service offerings. Team members gather product requirements from the Product Management team and turn them into working software that satisfy market needs which customers use to solve their specific problems. Develops, revises and maintains software artifacts and product engineering processes/methodologies to meet functional, scale and performance criteria. In addition, you will support product delivery of the Platform in internal and external environments to improve stability, ensure quality and security.


Essential Functions

· Work closely Product Management/Customer Success and the rest of the engineering team to define features and their implementations with careful attention to quality, scalability, and maintainability. Attend and actively participate in team ceremonies (stand-ups, retros, and planning meetings).

· Can comprehend complex abstractions and guide rest of the team; Work with Principal Engineers to defend designs.

· Pair program on pipelines for deployment of infrastructure and application changes.

· Pair program on bug investigation/fix of the deployment pipelines.

· Write automated unit, functional, and integration tests independently.

· Track work in ticketing system (JIRA)

· Participate in Pull Request reviews. Provide and receive feedback to continuously improve.

· Participate in troubleshooting and fixing Production Issues.

· Establish oneself as the Point of Contact for your area of expertise/knowledge.

· Other duties as assigned.
