Senior Business Systems Analyst
This position will function as a Senior Business Systems Analyst working as part of a team of Business Systems Analysts supporting the Department of Social Services in support of a data warehouse project and development of the ACES case management system.
Must Haves/ Required:
Social Services ACES case management system
Professional experience generating, execution and collecting requests of test plans
Must have process for documenting
Public Experience: Government, State, or County
On-Site in Las Vegas, NV
Minimum Qualifications:
• Expert level/Minimum eight (5) years’ experience in:
o Working knowledge of the Department of Social Service ACES case management system
o Documenting and collection of business requirements
o Generating test plans
o Execution of test plans and documenting results
o Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
o Pass a stringent criminal background check.
Deliverables:
• Accept feature request analyst assignments within 2 working days, excluding days off.
• Work with senior business analyst on the priority and scheduling of feature request on an as needed basis.
• Read and understand feature request assignments while working with the senior business analyst within 2 days of receipt of assignment, depending on the availability of the senior business analyst.
• Generate test plans for the feature requests.
• After sprint has been delivered into the test region then execute test plans and record status and report any bugs.
• Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the support team by actively participating as a member of the team in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings.
• Keep senior business analyst inform about any concerns and progress of assignments by submitting weekly progress reports and timesheets.
Daily/Weekly expectations:
• Progressing on the SDLC on assigned feature request items assigned.
• Deliver weekly progress for business analyst team review.
• Analyze and report bugs found, providing weekly feature/bug status updates.
• Maintain and communicate status of work performed weekly at minimum.
• Updates tasks in Azure DevOps boards corresponding to work efforts.
• Update information in Service Now on feature/bug fix items.
