Network/Systems Administrator

You'll manage a dynamic hybrid Microsoft environment, supporting both on-site and remote locations while helping shape the future of IT at a mission-driven organization.
What You’ll Do
As the backbone of our enterprise IT operations, you’ll:
- Lead IT Infrastructure Management: Administer and optimize core Microsoft technologies—Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Support a Distributed Workforce: Manage servers, networks, and firewalls across 15+ remote locations to ensure seamless operations and high availability.
- Own the Network Stack: Install, configure, and maintain networking hardware/software including switches, firewalls, routers, and wireless access points (WAPs).
- Secure Remote Connectivity: Configure and maintain robust VPN solutions for both site-to-site and remote access connections.
- Drive Cybersecurity Readiness: Implement and maintain cybersecurity tools, policies, and access controls. Support firewalls, IDS/IPS, SSL certificates, and endpoint protection.
- Optimize Network Performance: Manage routing, switching, VLANs, and monitor performance to ensure reliable, high-speed connectivity.
- Strengthen Business Continuity: Design and maintain backup systems and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure System Compliance: Work closely with IT leadership to meet compliance requirements and implement best practices.
- Provide Expert-Level Support: Serve as tier-3 escalation for complex IT issues related to hardware, software, and system integrations.
- Keep Us Current: Perform regular patching and vulnerability management to keep systems secure and up to date.
- Support Innovation: Contribute to key IT projects, application maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise IT systems, hybrid cloud environments, and network infrastructure.
