Data Analyst -Power BI Specialist
Location: Las Vegas, NV

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server to develop insightful dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial data analysis. Experience in construction programming or project management is a significant advantage but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement them through data models and visualizations.

Database Management:
Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to support data analysis and reporting needs.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reports and dashboards.

Financial Data Analysis:
Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making processes.
– Collaborate with finance teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.

– Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure BI solutions align with business objectives.
Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Optional
Leverage any experience in construction to provide industry-specific insights.
Develop dashboards and reports tailored to construction project metrics, timelines, and financials.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a Related Experience.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Developer.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
Advanced skills in Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
An understanding of financial principles and experience analyzing financial data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the construction industry, particularly in programming or project management.
Familiarity with construction project management software and data analysis related to construction projects.
Certification in Power BI or related BI tools (A BIG PLUS, but not required)
