Data Analyst -Power BI Specialist
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server to develop insightful dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial data analysis. Experience in construction programming or project management is a significant advantage but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
– Data Analysis and Reporting:
– Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
– Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI.
– Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement them through data models and visualizations.
– Database Management:
– Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to support data analysis and reporting needs.
– Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reports and dashboards.
– Financial Data Analysis:
– Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making processes.
– Collaborate with finance teams to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
– Communication:
– Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure BI solutions align with business objectives.
– Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

– Leverage any experience in construction to provide industry-specific insights.
– Develop dashboards and reports tailored to construction project metrics, timelines, and financials.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a Related Experience.
– Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Developer.
– Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
– Advanced skills in Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and database design.
– An understanding of financial principles and experience analyzing financial data.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in the construction industry, particularly in programming or project management.
– Familiarity with construction project management software and data analysis related to construction projects.
– Certification in Power BI or related BI tools (A BIG PLUS, but not required)
