Position Overview
The primary responsibility of the ServiceNow Service Owner will be to manage, maintain, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions successfully.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow solutions that support IT service management processes.

Configure and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, including defining and managing data structures, relationships, and dependencies.

Ensure data accuracy and completeness in the CMDB by conducting regular audits and reviews.
-
Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of service assets and configurations, including hardware, software, documentation, and licenses.
-
Define and maintain processes for the management of service assets and configurations, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
-
Ensure that all assets and configurations are properly identified, recorded, and tracked throughout their lifecycle within the CMDB.
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize CMDB requirements and implement necessary changes to support business needs.
-
Ensure that CMDB data is used effectively to support IT service management processes, such as incident management, change management, and asset management.
-
Ensure that all assets and configurations are secured and in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
-
Provide regular reporting and analysis of asset and configuration data to stakeholders.
-
Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI policies to support business processes.
-
Provide technical guidance and support to other ServiceNow developers and stakeholders.
-
Stay up to date with new ServiceNow releases and features and recommend opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Perform job duties in a safe manner.

Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Proof of authorization to work in the United States.
-
Must be able to obtain and maintain any certification or license, as required by law or policy.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
-
5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and configuration management
-
Strong technical skills in ServiceNow, including experience with CMDB, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
-
Demonstrated experience with ITIL best practices and service management processes.
-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications preferred.
-
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
